‘When our first daughter was born, she suffered with sensitive skin and developed bad nappy rash. I wanted to find out why, so I took a look at the ingredients in the baby wipes we were using. I was shocked to learn just how many chemicals were in them and questioned should we be putting them on her delicate skin?
I thought there had to be a better way so I set about creating a purer and safe alternative. Many years later and after a lot of hard work, testing, and scientific research, the perfect baby wipes, WaterWipes were born. I hope you like them too.’

Frequently Asked Questions
[Q] WaterWipes’ packs look different. Have you made any changes?
[A] We are transitioning over to a multi-language pack and have updated all multipacks with this new inner packaging. Our packaging material remains the same blend of Polyethylene, commonly known as PE or PET, however, we have updated the printing style to a glossier effect which offers a different finish and feel to our packs.
The quality of our wipes and packaging has not changed. We pride ourselves on making wipes that are safe to use on newborn baby’s skin. WaterWipes still contain 99.9% water and a drop of fruit extract and continue to be made in our unique cleanroom environment to ensure we remain the world’s purest baby wipe.
[Q] WaterWipes occasionally come out / dispense more than one wipe at a time. Why?
[A] Previously our wipes dispensed in the same way as other baby wipe brands but WaterWipes don’t contain soaps or chemical lubricants to help with the dispensing of the wipes from the pack, WaterWipes could come out of the pack in clumps occasionally. To solve this, we changed our wipes to non-interfolded. The start of each wipe still lies in the centre each time and should be easy to locate.
[Q] My baby has nappy rash, can I still use WaterWipes?
[A] Yes. WaterWipes are not a cure for nappy rash but WaterWipes doesn’t contain anything that could further irritate your baby’s delicate skin.
[Q] What is GSE (Grapefruit seed extract)?
[A] Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) is a natural skin conditioner. WaterWipes contain 1 part GSE to 1,000 parts water (i.e. 0.1%).
[Q] How do WaterWipes clean?
[A] WaterWipes contain water and grapefruit seed extract. Water is nature’s natural cleanser and moisturiser. Grapefruit seed extract also helps to maintain good skin condition.
